Sonic Prospect privacy policy

Last updated: 26 September 2026

Who this covers

This policy describes the Sonic Prospect Shopify app (the adapter that merchants install). App charges go through Shopify App Pricing as usage records per Qualified Prospect. Why? evidence is not implemented yet.

What we store

Visitor and agent chat messages are stored against the anonymous session id so the merchant can review conversations in Admin. They are deleted on shop/redact. The shop settings row also stores Shopify usage totals and subscription ids so the storefront widget can pause when the monthly cap is reached. We do not store a per-visitor Qualified Prospect identity.

Storefront context

When a visitor sends a message, the app may receive page type, product or collection handle/title/price, cart totals, referrer, and UTM parameters. We do not store customer email, name, or address in this app. If the merchant connects HubSpot, the email and name of a logged-in Shopify customer are read at qualify time and sent to that HubSpot portal.

Web Pixel

The optional Web Pixel subscribes to standard Shopify storefront events. Events are only forwarded if an ingest URL is configured. They are not sent to a production Pivony API from this app.
